Dear “Iron Mike,”
I walked into the Anti-Gym on February 10th, pushing 240 pounds and wearing a size 20 pant. I heard your commercials and also listened to your guest appearance on the “Dom and Jane” show. I have to admit you were talking directly to me.
I am now happy to report – one month later – I am down 15 pounds and wearing a size 16 pant! How WONDERFUL is that! Rob Mattivi has been a HUGE help from day one, and has encouraged me every step of the way. I love the fact that he is in my face yelling: “STEP IT UP! DON”T QUIT! WHAT WAS THAT? 30 MORE SECONDS!” He calls me, e-mails me, reviews my meals… I LOVE ROB! My butt doesn’t jiggle as much, and my lunch lady arms are getting stronger.
I realize that I have a long way to go, but with Rob by my side, I am going to do it this time. This has been money well spent – I think I used to spend close to $400.00 a month just on donuts, cakes and pies!
Hard work and eating right is truly the answer. Thanks so much for everything. Thanks for no B.S., no promises that I could lose weight by sitting on my fat butt and taking a pill. From the start, Rob told me it would be hard work.
I also want to say GOODBYE to the following clubs/products I have wasted my money on:
• Lady Fitness (I got FATTER! Worked at a really slow pace.)
• Weight Watchers (Heard a lot of fat women blaming steroids in their meat for making them FAT!)
• Herbal Life (Liquid food wasn’t the answer.)
• Atkins Diet (I cannot eat another piece of bacon, ever!)
• Pills (You name it, I have taken it! Still fat!)
• Laxatives (College life)
• 24 Hour Fitness, or as you say, “24 Hour Fatness”
• Curves (I could shower and do my hair before my workout.)
• Rec. Center (They try, but they have untrained staff members.)
• NutriSystem (Expensive astronaut food is not the answer!)
Thank you, Mike and Rob! You’re the BEST! Keep yelling, keep getting in everyone’s faces, and if they can’t stand the heat, then let them stay fat and enjoy a big fat muffin! This is one happy client!

Hi Michael,
Just read your article in Mile High Sports Magazine.
Wow. After reading that I am frustrated with some of the emails that have been written to you and I am motivated with your strength to get through some of your challenging days. I have only heard minimal amounts of your advertising campaign and I must say they add humor to my day!
What I would like to comment on is your drive and passion you have for your business and your customers. I truly admire your determination. Since I have been coming to see you, my mental and physical health has improved drastically. Not to mention I am hitting the golf ball about 15 yards further off the tee!
Some may say your crass disposition is destroying society. You know they are wrong and I know they are wrong. Commenting on the person from the National Eating Disorder Board, I believe your technique may help these ladies suffering from this horrible disease. I believe this because my mother suffered from Bulimia and Alcoholism for over 30 years and eventually died because she lost all control. If she could have only had 1 once of strength that you drive into your clients on a daily basis I guarantee she would be alive and well as she was when she was an Olympic figure skater and Homecoming Queen.
Michael, keep up the fight. You know what champions are made of and I guarantee champions will attract to you and find humor along the way. Stay strong, as you know, it can get lonely at the top.

Hey Michael, just got home and read your article in Mille High, I thought it was great ! You know I've spent most of my life worrying about what other people think. You've got it right, too bad it took me turning 50 to realize this. Way to go..... I've lost 8 pounds in 34 days, I love my work outs, The Anti Gym is just what I needed. Thanks, Janet Brown
( was I supposed to eat that cupcake you threw at me this morning?)
As a physician, one of the most difficult aspects is trying to get patients to make lifestyle changes. The Anti-Gym offers a revolutionary approach: instead of asking clients to make unreasonable sacrifices in their diets and life, The Anti-Gym incorporates a physician approved, balanced diet that includes carbohydrates, moderate alcohol, and even dessert, along with a training system that takes fitness to a whole new level. Clients are taught to be accountable and are monitored regularly through weight checks and body fat testing. As a client and a physician, I have seen firsthand how The Anti-Gym provides a safe and effective method for weight loss. I highly recommend it to all of my patients.
